Well this looks delicious! Here's a toast to your amazing posts adding culinary delights to the menu of Wolf Crawl. Food is such a big part of the books, among other things it really brings the world to life. There are plenty more meals to come, so save room for pudding.

Thank you!! You brought this up in the first week - if someone might like to do food or clothes... and I thought I will try food, but did not expect a lot of it in the book. I should have had more faith 😂 you probably would not have mentionned it if there was nothing to find.

Yes! I love that part! As if no one surmised…🙈

This time around it stood out to me that Alice more wanted to bake Gregor cromwell in a sugar crust and eat him all up. Poor poor Alice

Will ask Thurston if a buffet might be possible regarding the main courses! The desserts and salads are buffet style.

Being a vegetarian, I would rather not have Chicken a la Anne Boleyn! 🐥

Of course not. Thurston already scolded me. Told me I got over-enthustiac because Lent has ended and there are not any meals for vegetarians. He said he will personally cook for them anything they want.

Andrea, I am overwhelmed! What a celebration!

If it's OK, I'd add an additional Tuscan chef who could prepare a few extra dishes in honor of Crumbs italian years, e.g. bruschetta, pappa al pomodoro, a ribollita, perhaps riso al tartuffo, plus a bottle of Brunello or Montepulciano (which we'll empty to the health of our Grand Master Simon Haisell and you).

For dessert, I would recommend a Torta coi bischeri or a piece of Torta ai pinoli di San Rossore!

Salute! 🍇🍷🍝

Definitely! What a brilliant idea to expand the business, they'll be beating down our doors. I feel like I'm in culinary heaven just reading this. (My cousin lived in Tuscany for a few years. It's so wonderful, the Tuscan cuisine, what good food I ate there., heavenly )

A toast to you for this Andrea, cracker of a last WH post.

And yes to a Thurston apron - Love the exchanges between Thurston & TC.

Thank you! I love the exchanges between Thurston and Cremuel, too- Thurston is one of my favorite characters in the book so far. I think he and Cranmer are the ones who you could call Cromwell´s friends, the only ones. The apron is on its way to you, I wear mine proudly in the kitchen! 👨‍🍳

May I request Stewed Rabbit in a Pot a la Harry Percy and his Lawful Wife Anne Boleyn?

It is already simmering in the pot, but Thurston says it still needs some more time and thanks you for patience in advance! 🐰

Brilliant! I was very late to the WH party so have had a frantic month of catching up. Just pleased to see there’s some food left on the table. Thank you for this and really looking forward to BUTB at the right pace...will mean less indigestion I think.
